How to Use CCleaner To clean Your Computer?
Read Time:4 Minute, 15 Second
CCleaner is likely a name that springs to mind when thinking about PC cleaner software and it remains one of the best you can buy for value and performance CCleaner has been around a long time – since 2004 – so for many is the PC cleaner software, but is it still the best? As with many Windows applications, there’s a free version of CCleaner but it’s limited to standard privacy protection (tracking files and browsing data) and cleaning. I’m testing the paid-for Professional version here, which unlocks a range of additional features such as the Speed and Security sections of the software, plus the ability to schedule cleaning and monitor your computer.
Use CCleaner To clean Your Computer
When it comes to using CCleaner for cleaning your computer, there are a few things to keep in mind. It’s important to clean your computer from top to bottom – from drive to drive and from external disk to internal drive. This will ensure malware and other harmful programs are removed from all your computers. First, clean the entire drive from end to end. On most hard drives, this will be the first drive on your first attempt at clean-up. In our experience, this will be the hardest drive to clean, but it’s not the end of the line. You can clean any drive and still come out with malware. In addition, clean the programs – including any associated program files – that are sitting in the system tray. When in doubt, uninstall programs from the program manager and manually remove the tray icon. You can also use the Clean application on your computer to clean programs from the programs list.
Features & Performance
Here are few things to keep in mind when cleaning your computer: Make sure all programs are uninstalled. If you’re removing an old program, use the uninstaller to remove the program. If you’re removing an old program that you haven’t used in the past, remove it one by one. Clean the entire drive – not just its individual files. If you have a large amount of data on the drive, unpack it all into a file by file or create a data folder and remove the data files in that folder. Optimize your hard drive. On a 64-bit system, you can optimize your hard drive with the Freece software. On a 32-bit system, you can use the free software. You can also use a third-party tool to optimize your hard drive.
Profitable?
It’s difficult to say for certain how profitable using CCleaner for cleaning your computer will be, but it’s definitely a worthwhile investment if you are interested in improving the efficiency and productivity of your computer. While most programs come with a price tag, some are more expensive than others. The best programs, by far, are those that come with a price tag and are worth the price.
Security and Privacy
One of the most important things to keep in mind when cleaning your computer is security and privacy. This is because stolen data is a common occurrence on computers, and you will often find stolen information on your computer. If you have sensitive information on your computer such as bank account numbers or medical records, be sure to remove them all at once. This will ensure that none of your assets are stored on unprotected computer files. You should also never share your computer with anyone outside of your family or close friends. This includes having any children under 18 or someone who is potentially financial or security threat.
Scheduled Cleaning
It’s recommended that you schedule clean-up times every couple of months. This is because as your computer grows, so does the likelihood that malware will be on it. Scheduling regular clean-ups is one of the best ways to protect your computer from infection. You can also use the Clean application on your computer to clean programs from the programs list.
Latest Updates
The last thing to keep in mind when cleaning your computer is the latest version of Windows. Chances are, if you are using an older version of Windows, then you may have encountered a problem when running the program. This will likely be the case with your first few clean-ups, but as your computer grows and is used to running the software, you will experience fewer issues.
Follow these steps
When it comes to cleaning your computer, you’ll first want to make sure all of the files are empty. This can be done by going to the “My Files” section on the left side of the screen, and searching for “empty”. Next, go to the “Advanced” or “Advanced Options” menus and enable “Advanced Cleaning”. This will prevent your computer from becoming infected with malware.
Final Words
CCleaner is a powerful and versatile software that can remove virtually any file or program from your computer. The only downside is that it is not cheap, so make sure you are willing to spend the money on the features you want.
